Lots of young children will long for a Disney themed bedroom - but it's an intimidating thought, changing the look of a whole room. Apart from the time and the money involved, the upheaval alone is enough to put many people off.
However, the fact of the matter is that you don't need to spend a lot of time or money - and any upheaval can be kept to an absolute minimum. It's a lot easier than you think.
The trick is to start with the bed. It's a bedroom - so the bed is the main focal point in the room. Just by changing the bedclothes and using a set of sheets, pillowcases and covers with the theme that you want on it you will have made a big step towards the themed room that your kid yearns for.
You can pick up a set of Disney themed bedding for anywhere between $30 and $60 - and it takes just a few minutes to change the bedding.
Check out the Disney Frozen bedding sets below. They look great and don't cost too much.

Once you have the bed taken care of (shouldn't take long), you can move on to the next most important area in any bedroom - the window.
The window is a focal point in any room - it naturally draws the eye. Put up a set of drapes that match the theme that you're trying to establish and, between that and the bedding, you will be more than halfway there.
Once again, you can get a set of Disney themed drapes for anywhere between $30 and $50, depending on just how big the window is to some extent. And you can put up a set of curtains in less than half an hour!

As you can see, they look great, they are inexpensive and they take just a few minutes to put up.
One other tip - if you're worried about your child changing their mind, maybe when the next big movie hits the silver screen, then just put up a set of curtains that doesn't have the theme but has colors which echo the bedding. At the risk of stereotyping, pink for a girl and blue for a boy works well and will still look good and contribute to the overall atmosphere of the room.
However, at $30 or so, it's not the end of the earth if your child wants new curtains in a year or two.
With the bedding and curtains taken care of - and remember, you've spent about $60 and one hour so far - the rest is just about adding some finishing touches.
You could put up a few posters - or you could make use of the advances in modern printing technology and put up some wall decals.
These are great! they use high definition images, often in large, eye catching sizes, printed onto thick, fade and tear resistant vinyl. And they are incredibly easy to use - just peel off the backing and stick them onto any smooth, flat surface. you can put them on walls (obviously), doors, mirrors, windows - even the headboard of the bed if you like.
Don't worry about making a mistake - you can just peel them off and reposition them somewhere better if you like. They won't mark your walls or leave any sticky residue.
Once again, even if you're not all that artistically inclined, you should be able to put up a few posters or wall decals in the space of an hour or so - and you'll be amazed at what a transformation they make to a room.
They also don't cost a great deal of money. You can get smaller decals for less than $15, or splash out on the really huge ones - but even then, they cost less than $100.
Have a look at some of the Disney Frozen wall decals below and you'll see what I mean.
Now that you have the walls taken care of, just add a few finishing touches - a bedside lamp, a plush toy, some scatter cushions, a small rug or two - and your child's themed bedroom will be complete. You can add these details one piece at a time over a period of time if you like.
One of the really cool things about this approach is that it can be done so quickly. you can change the bedding, put up new curtains, stick up some posters and wall decals and scatter a few cushions around in the space of a morning or afternoon. Complete your "surprise Disney Frozen bedroom makeover" when your child is otherwise engaged and watch their face light up when they see their new bedroom for the first time!
